Frequently asked questions and Membership
What is reflexology?
Reflexology is a deeply relaxing therapy that works on specific reflex points on the feet, hands, or face that correspond to different parts of the body. By applying gentle pressure, I help stimulate the body’s natural healing processes, restore balance, and promote overall wellbeing.
What can I expect during my first treatment?
Your first session includes a short consultation to discuss your health, lifestyle, and what you’d like to achieve from treatment. You’ll then relax on a comfortable therapy couch while I work on your feet, hands, or face using natural oils or balms. Most clients describe it as deeply calming — it’s your time to completely switch off.
Do I need to remove clothing?
Only your shoes and socks (or makeup, for facial reflexology) need to be removed. You’ll remain fully clothed and comfortably covered throughout your session.
How will I feel afterwards?
Many clients feel deeply relaxed, lighter, and more balanced after treatment. Occasionally, mild detox symptoms (such as tiredness or increased urination) may occur — this is perfectly normal and usually short-lived as your body rebalances.
How many treatments will I need?
This depends on your individual needs. Some people enjoy reflexology as a one-off relaxation treatment, while others find a course of regular treatments helps support long-term issues such as stress, sleep problems, hormonal imbalance, or pain management. I will always discuss a plan tailored to you.
Is reflexology safe for everyone?
Reflexology is suitable for most people, including during pregnancy (after the first trimester). However, there are certain medical conditions that may require your GP’s consent before treatment — I’ll always advise during consultation.
Can reflexology diagnose or cure medical conditions?
No — reflexology does not diagnose or cure. It’s a complementary therapy that supports your body’s own healing mechanisms and can work beautifully alongside conventional medical care.
Can I reclaim the cost of my treatment on my health Insurance.
Yes — some health insurance do cover Foot reflexology, however it is best to check with your provider first.

Membership FAQs
Thoughtfully designed. Flexibly supported.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes. Life ebbs and flows — and your membership can too.
You may pause your membership once during any 12-month period for up to one month, with a minimum of 14 days’ notice. This allows you to step away gently, without losing your place in the care rhythm we’ve created together.
Do unused sessions roll over?
Sessions are designed to support consistency, which is where the greatest benefits are found.
One unused session may be rolled over to the following month, provided your membership remains active. Additional sessions are not carried forward, encouraging regular care rather than accumulation.
What if I need to cancel my membership?
Memberships run on a rolling monthly basis. Should you wish to cancel, simply provide one full calendar month’s notice.
Any remaining sessions within that notice period can be used or gifted to a loved one, allowing your care to conclude with intention and ease.
Is there a minimum commitment?
To allow your body time to respond and settle into regular support, a minimum commitment of three months is recommended. Many clients choose to continue beyond this as the benefits deepen over time.
Can I change my membership level?
Absolutely. Your needs may shift — and your membership can evolve with you.
Upgrades can be made at any time. Downgrades can be arranged with one month’s notice.
What happens if I miss an appointment?
Standard cancellation policies apply. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed entirely, are unfortunately forfeited. This protects the time and care reserved especially for you.
Are memberships refundable?
Membership payments are non-refundable, as they secure your treatment time and preferred booking access. However, sessions may be transferred or gifted within your notice period if plans change.
Are memberships suitable for everyone?
Memberships are ideal for clients seeking preventative, ongoing support.
If you are navigating acute or complex health conditions, we will always discuss suitability and adapt care appropriately.
A Gentle Note
Membership treatments are designed to support relaxation, balance, and wellbeing. They do not replace medical care, and no diagnosis is made.
